We are a small team who give our time and care to those who are experiencing ill health or hard times. We are PVG checked, understand the importance of confidentiality and are keen that no-one should fall through the cracks, finding themselves lonely or without support. We meet regularly with Canon Lynsay and help to prepare the Intercessions list included on the Pew Drop each week; the names included on this list are only those we have direct permission to include, other people are kept for our private prayers.
Tina Hammond
Tina convenes pastoral meetings and is skilled at keeping track of who is in need of assistance and making many visits.
Gilly Whatling
Gilly is another key player in the pastoral team, making lots of visits herself and keeping track of many of those in need of assistance. She is based at Inchmarlo.
Judith Edmond
Judith is keeper of the pastoral visiting list. She is key to us knowing where to find people and who is owed a visit.
Margaret Davidson.
Margaret’s particular responsibility is organising gifts for housebound members of the church.
